I scheduled an appointment with New Tampa Smiles after reading glowing reviews. I’m happy to say that after my visit, I can confirm the high praise that has been given. When I arrived, it was maybe 5 minutes before I was taken back to get started with x-rays. Each additional staff member that I interacted with was very friendly and professional. Dr. Taveras greeted me, and began to explain everything he saw on the x-rays and answered any questions I had. When I asked about possibly straightening my teeth, the unexpected happened. He advised against it! He explained that he wanted to see me again to further evaluate my situation (I have a crown) before coming up with a plan. That spoke volumes to me. It signaled that he cares about what would be best for me – and not just the bottom line for his office. Farie did an AMAZING job with my cleaning. She was very relaxing, and you could tell that she genuinely loves helping people. Dr. Taveras is definitely my new dentist, and I’d recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dental home.
